Petra Amasreiter
Petra Amasreiter is a research associate in media pedagogy at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. Her primary focus is on the use of generative AI in teaching.
She holds a master’s degree in Educational Sciences from the FernUniversität in Hagen (Germany’s State Distance-Learning University) with a focus on Adult/Continuing Education and has extensive experience in instructional design for e-learning and blended learning formats in vocational training.
Her research centres on the competent and responsible use of AI, as well as the interactions between this technology and societal structures. To support the development of AI literacy among both students and educators, she is actively involved in national and international projects and networks, including the Ethical AI Network in the DACH region and the ERASMUS+ project BIP DIVERSE, which aims to establish micro-credentials as EU-wide learning offerings.
