Anna Maria Loffredo

After studying Art Education and Social Studies (politics, sociology & economics) for middle & high school at the University of Siegen (Germany) and completing a two-year teacher training program in Krefeld (Germany) she was employed as a high school teacher especially for the IB level for a number of years. Her students as well like herself received several national and international awards for their art works, based on the daily class curriculum. In 2014, she was a trainee at Goethe Institut Los Angeles and she gained a postdoc scholarship of the DAAD at SUNY Buffalo State College and German School Washington D.C. (USA). Since 2016, she was participating in the Erasmus academic exchange program at the University of Lapland (FI), the University of the Arts in London (GB) and the University of Stockholm (SE). Besides that, she was invited to the University of the Arts Zurich (ZHdK) through the SEMP program. In 2020, she was elected to be a fellow in the excellence of teaching program by the Toepfer Foundation (Germany).
